Our Mission

The United States Veteran Reserve Corps (US-VRC) is made up of everyday individuals who feel compelled to give back and serve our communities in times of need.

The US-VRC is dedicated to developing partnerships with federal, state and local government emergency management and homeland security agencies, other first responder organizations, and Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOADs).

Many of our soldiers are military veterans, both able-bodied and disabled, while others have had a desire to serve.  Recognizing the benefit of military training and discipline in an emergency situation, our personnel develop a well rounded education in Incident Command (ICS / NIMS), Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT), assisting survivors of crisis, as well as military customs and courtesies, drill and ceremonies, and leadership courses to help orient on non-prior service members to the product military structure and practices the veterans in our organization embody.

Each individual member also provides their unique talents to the US-VRC, based on their background and trainings.
